Lighthouse Hotel

Many people still search the web for the old Lighthouse
Motel in Gulf Shores. Recently the entire property was surrounded with chain link
fencing in preparation for it's demolition. The Lighthouse Hotel is being
torn down so that new high-rise condos can be built. The face of Gulf
Shores is definitely changing. The Lighthouse Hotel was a local landmark
and will be missed. If you enjoyed staying there, then the
next

walking distance from seafood restaurants and fun beach shops. The neighborhood is fairly
compact. Next door, in Orange Beach, things are a bit more spread out. But bigger hotels
like the Perdido Beach Resort have several restaurants and it's own fishing pier. An
