Here is just about everyone's favorite part of the whole Shrimp Festival: The Food !

The 2002 winner was the wonderful Cajun Pistol that has been featured on TV's Food Network:

People write and ask if I know the recipe for the Cajun Pistol. Having eaten as many as 3 in one day, I think I have a recipe that is pretty close.

Many local Gulf Shores and Orange Beach restaurants offer small portions of their shrimp specialties.

The TV Food Network featured the Shrimp Fest in May 2003 and had this to say:

The National Annual Shrimp Festival's Arts and Crafts area had a great look of colorful and beach oriented  items. Shown here are just a few of the things that caught our eye.

Ever needed a direction sign or just a bit of whimsy on your yard or garden? This collection of 'yard art' had something for everyone.

Plenty of serious art was available too. Here wildlife artist, Bill Scott is standing with one of his outstanding paintings.

The brilliant colors of Terry Hunt's large wood sculpture really caught our eye.

Tony Krysinsky, a Florida artist had wonderful, colorful wood relief wall paintings.
